Tabet DiVito & Rothstein is proud to announce that partners Christopher Liguori and Amanda Catalano and associate Jake Berger received the 2022 Excellence in Pro Bono and Public Interest Service Award from the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Chris, Amanda, and Jake were honored for their work representing an inmate at Stateville Correctional Center in a claim under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Upon their appointment in 2017, the TDR team fought vigorously on behalf of their client in the adjudication of his claims against various prison officials and a prison healthcare provider for delayed medical care resulting in permanent injuries. After four years of litigation, their client was able to resolve his case on favorable terms. The District Court bestowed this honor on the TDR team in recognition of their hard work on behalf of their client. Congratulations to Chris, Amanda, and Jake.
