On June 7, 2012, TDR partner Karina Zabicki DeHayes became president of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois (“WBAI”).  Founded in 1914 and having about 1,000 members statewide, the WBAI is one of the oldest and largest bar associations in Illinois.  Its mission is to promote the interests of women lawyers and to protect the rights and interests of women generally.  DeHayes has been an active member of the WBAI for over ten years, previously serving as co-chairwoman of the WBAI’s Balancing Act Committee, a member of WBAI’s board of directors, financial secretary, second vice president, and first vice president.

Here is a reprint of the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin article announcing DeHayes’ installation as WBAI president.
