Ms. O’Neill joined Tabet DiVito & Rothstein in October 2016 and focuses on intellectual property matters and commercial litigation.
She earned her law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2015 with a concurrent master’s of science in Intellectual Property Management and Markets. She is a two-time moot court champion, competing on behalf of Chicago-Kent to win in both the Spring 2014 DePaul University cultural heritage moot court competition and the Fall 2014 John Marshall Law School moot court competition on information technology and privacy law. She also represented her school at Chicago Tech Week, Chicago Ideas Week and was invited to Think Chicago 2015, an initiative to bring technology-minded student talent to Chicago after graduation.
Ms. O’Neill was an associate editor of the Chicago-Kent Journal of Intellectual Property and a member of the IP Clinic at Kent. In 2013, she served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Stuart Palmer of the Illinois Appellate Court, First District.
Kelly graduated summa cum laude from Texas Tech University and was an Honors College Banner Bearer in the December 2009 graduation ceremony. She was an Honors College ambassador, Kappa Alpha Theta member, undergraduate student researcher and winner of multiple scholarships while at Tech.
Ms. O’Neill is licensed to practice in Illinois. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, and the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois.
